Thank you so much for your prompt and thorough response to our bad leak yesterday. Your repair worked beautifully and looks good this morning. It means a lot to have someone so reliable and capable to call on.

Thanks for the excellent job that you and your workers did to restore my home to its prior condition after the ice back up damage this past winter. You did it all in working with my insurance company in settling the water damage claim. I have recommended your services to my friends. Not only did you do execellent water restoration, I found that you are very compassionate and caring about the customers you deal with. You really know how to coordinate the services so that I was not in disarray more than I needed to be. Thanks again!
I appreciate the way you do business. Thanks John!
We couldn't have been more impressed with John and his crew when they restored our house after a fire. They were professional, courteous, prompt, flexible, generous and creative. John worked tirelessly with our insurance company, being our strongest advocate in getting more than a fair settlement and providing suggestions at every turn. He came up with some very creative solutions to make sure our home was not just restored but ended up being far better than it was before the fire. There were also some things that simply weren't done right when the house was built that were uncovered by the fire. John went out of his way to fix those issues, when maybe no one else would have noticed. We would recommend John to any of our friends who are looking for a contractor and would call him again ourselves anytime.
John and his crew are amazingly talented, creative, and produce impeccable work. You will not find a more honest man who is a master at the art of construction.
We had toyed with the idea of having a ground floor level bedroom added to the side of our 1920s era, two story house. A neighbor recommended John Vondersaar. I called John and he came to our house the same day. We discussed what we had in mind. Within a week, John sent a drawing and proposal. I thought it was reasonable and well laid out, but like a lot of procrastinators, we did not follow through. I saved the paperwork, though. Soonafter, my wife, Bett, lost her balance coming down the stairs and started to tumble. Again, I called John and he came to our house promptly. He looked over the original contract, and said it still was good. I contracted with him to do the construction. I think they were on the job the next day. The biggest problem was the building authority and getting the permits. Some trips took the whole afternoon. These are the kind of workers you like to have in your home. They were cognisant of Bett's failing health and did everything possible within the construction confines to hold down the noise, dust, and trash. I kept an old fridge full of "help yourself" water and pop. The job was completed within the preset time frame. The new construction blended in with the old so well that friends familiar with the before were amazed at the transformation. The interior doors, trim, and baseboards, replicated the old.
I highly recommend John Vondersaar for his quality workmanship.

When I hear the name John Vondersaar, I think of a man who has a high level of residential construction expertise backed with years of experience to show for it. When I first started my computer consulting business, I operated it within my home, and I was out of space. I didn't want to lease expensive office space, and I was interested in a room/office addition. John assessed my situation and advised me that it would be cheaper to move. Can you imagine a contractor actually TURNING DOWN work?? But that is John Vondersaar--always keeping the homeowners best interests in mind. Despite his initial recommendation, I contracted with him to build my beautiful 500 Square foot office edition. He did a knock out job, and every time a new person walks into it, their face lights up, and they say 'WOW'. John recently replaced all of my old windows, with beautiful new ones. You can pick anyone to hammer nails around your house, but if you want a beautiful home that your family will enjoy, you need to call John Vondersaar.

John Vondersaar of J.D.V. Construction has built two custom homes for me in the past 7 years. He uses a "hands on" approach that gives his work that personal touch that has been lost by most contractors! He is also, in my opinion, the last "HONEST" contractor in town. You cannot go wrong by choosing JDV!
